As an alternative to Bangkok, there are daily flights to Krabi directly to and from Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Kuala Lumpur and Chiang Mai, amongst others, plus Sweden, Denmark and Finland during the high season. Krabi International Airport’s planned expansion will increase passenger capacity to 5 million by 2020 with new direct flights from Doha via Qatar Airways due to commence in December 2016.
